I recently stayed at the lodge and was excited to experience its charm. The proximity to the ski resort is fantastic, making it easy to hit the slopes, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. However, I was a bit disappointed with the dining experience as the breakfast was no longer complimentary and the hot tub, once a highlight, was not well-maintained this time. Overall, it was a nice stay, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

Rooms

The rooms could use some updating as there were noticeable imperfections, but they were still comfortable for resting after a long day. I'd rate them a 7 for their rustic charm.

Service during my visit was mostly positive, with staff being incredibly helpful and responsive to my needs. Rating them an 8 feels appropriate.
Location
9.0
The location is perfect for skiing with numerous restaurants within a short drive, making it convenient for everything. I'd give it a high 9.
Dining

While the breakfast buffet used to be a highlight, the quality has dipped and the price is now steep at $22 per person, so I can only give it a 5.

The hot tub that was once a major attraction was disappointing this time around, affecting my enjoyment. I'll rate the facilities a 6 as they can certainly improve.

This hotel is in a great location, just a short drive from the Killington ski resorts. While I appreciated the large outdoor hot tub and the cozy atmosphere, the rooms were in desperate need of a good cleaning and maintenance. Service was friendly, but the overall value for the price paid didn't meet my expectations due to the outdated facilities and some issues with hot water availability.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it had great potential but some serious issues were holding it back. The staff tried their best to be accommodating and friendly, which was commendable. However, the cleanliness and dining experience could definitely use improvement. While the location is good, the overall condition of the hotel affects the experience significantly.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were adequate but felt dated and lacked proper cleaning attention. On check-in, we noticed there were no towels available, which was quite frustrating.

While the front desk staff made an effort to help, it was clear they were overwhelmed and lacked adequate support from management.
